Terms of Service

Use Resume Intelligence to prepare your résumé. Check every AI suggestion and include only information that accurately represents your experience and qualifications.
1. Purpose and use
Resume Intelligence is provided by Highlands Community Charter & Technical Schools as a career preparation resource for students and staff. By using the service, you agree to use it responsibly under these terms and applicable school policies. If you do not agree, discontinue use and contact Student Services for assistance with career preparation.
2. Your information and content
Submit only information you are authorized to use. You retain any rights you have in the content you provide. You permit the school and its service providers to process that content as needed to provide the features you request, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Do not include Social Security numbers, student IDs, passwords, financial account details, medical information, or confidential information belonging to another person or employer.
3. AI suggestions and résumé accuracy
AI output may contain errors, omissions, or inappropriate suggestions. Review names, dates, qualifications, job duties, achievements, and other statements before using or sharing the output. Do not claim skills, credentials, employment, or numerical results that you cannot verify.
Résumé scores and keyword suggestions are estimates for guidance. They do not reproduce every employer’s applicant tracking system and do not guarantee an interview, job, income, or hiring outcome. The service does not make employment or school eligibility decisions.
4. Acceptable use
- Use the service for legitimate résumé and career preparation.
- Do not impersonate others, fabricate qualifications, or upload content without authorization.
- Do not attempt to access another person’s information, bypass safeguards, exploit the service, or submit malicious files.
- Do not automate abusive requests or interfere with other users’ access.
5. Drafts, exports, and shared computers
You are responsible for saving and reviewing the copies you need. Browser storage can be cleared or unavailable, so a saved browser draft should not be your only copy. Shared device mode stops draft saves for the current page session. Use Clear Draft when finished and remove downloaded files from shared computers. The app does not submit applications or post to LinkedIn for you.
6. Availability and third-party services
AI features depend on third-party services and network access. Features may be temporarily unavailable, changed, or limited to protect reliability and prevent abuse. Export behavior may vary by browser, device, and browser settings. If a feature fails, contact Student Services for assistance.
7. School policies and assistance
These terms supplement applicable school policies. They do not waive rights or protections provided by applicable law. Questions about the tool or these terms may be directed to Highlands Student Services or school administration through the official Highlands website.
8. Updates
These terms may change as the service evolves. Review the version available in the app when using it. The updated date identifies the current version.
