1. About this service

Resume Intelligence is a career preparation tool provided by Highlands Community Charter & Technical Schools and powered by Highlands Brain. This notice describes the data handling built into this application.

2. Information you provide

You may enter your name, contact information, location, career goals, employment history, education, skills, certifications, and a job description. If you upload a résumé, it may contain additional personal information. Include only information needed for your résumé. Do not include Social Security numbers, student IDs, passwords, bank information, medical details, or sensitive information about other people.

3. AI processing

When you import a résumé or use an AI feature, the information needed for that feature is sent through the application’s server to Anthropic’s API. PDF uploads are sent to Anthropic as documents. Word documents are processed on the server to extract text, which is then sent to Anthropic; text uploads are sent as text. Analysis, regeneration, skill suggestions, and LinkedIn writing use relevant entered content.

Anthropic processes requests under its applicable commercial terms and data policies. Its published API retention policy generally provides for deletion within 30 days, with contractual, safety, and legal exceptions. 4. Browser storage and shared devices

By default, this app saves your draft, including entered information and AI results, in local browser storage so you can return to it. Drafts remain until cleared by you, the browser, or device management; they do not automatically expire. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to open the saved draft.

Shared device mode removes this app’s saved draft after confirmation and stops new draft saves while that page remains open. It does not automatically persist across visits. Clear Draft removes the saved draft and resets the current workspace. Clearing a draft does not delete files you downloaded, clipboard contents, browser or provider logs, or information already processed by a service provider. Downloaded résumés must be removed separately from shared computers.

The app also saves a theme preference and a limited local list of usage events, such as analysis or export activity. These usage events are not transmitted to an analytics service by the supplied application.

5. Hosting, fonts, and technical information

Netlify hosts the application and handles server requests. Hosting and AI providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, and operational or security logs. Google Fonts supplies fonts and may receive standard network information when fonts load. This application does not intentionally log résumé bodies or maintain a server-side résumé database.

6. Sharing and downloads

The app creates résumé files and text for you to review and download or copy. It does not submit job applications, publish your LinkedIn profile, or send your résumé to employers. Copy App Link shares the application address only; it does not transfer your résumé. You control any later sharing of files or text.

7. Your choices and assistance

You can edit your information, avoid AI features, use shared device mode, or clear your draft. For questions about school use, privacy, or a request involving information already processed by a provider, contact Highlands Student Services or school administration through the official Highlands website. Do not include sensitive résumé information in an initial support request.

8. Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated when the service or its data practices change. The updated date identifies the current version.
